The purpose of this site is to help those who have or who know children

diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia or ALL for us simple folk.

We remember only too well those first few hours of having our daughter diagnosed with ALL and then being bombarded with copious amounts of information. My wife understood a lot of the terms as she had spent many years working in a hospital environment. However, although the Consultant and nurses spent a lot of time explaining the procedures and drugs to be used in the treatment, a lot of the information did not sink in for myself.

Therefore, with this site we are going to try to explain things in a simple way. We are also going to give you a chance to tell us about you, I know I found it very helpful and therapeutic to talk things through with people and to share the experience with others.
