Kenneth Dwight Kesterson, 74, Springfield, Mo., passed away on April 25, 2008, in the home after a long illness. He was born on March 14, 1934, in Marshfield, Mo. Kenneth retired from Banta Foods in 1995. His hobbies included working on cars and enjoying his four grandsons. He was joined in marriage to Wilma Jean Lafferty on November 12, 1953, in Springfield, Mo. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Bethal Kesterson; and his sister, Gladys Muse. Kenneth is survived by his wife; his children, Steven of the home, Randy and Sandy Kesterson, Fair Grove, Mo., Rick and Mary Kesterson, Strafford, Mo.; his grandchildren, Corey, Mason, Garrett, and Dalton;his sister, Opal Hicks, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. April 28, 2008, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Interment will be on April 28, 2008, in Danforth Cemetery, immediately following the service. The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 27, 2008, in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of S.W. Mo. Ken will be extremely missed by his family and friends.
