Leroy is the son of Clover Riley and Carrie Mae (Pixley) Kesterson Leroy Warren Kesterson, 94, of Carmi, died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Wabash Christian Retirement Home in Carmi. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville with Masonic Rites at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs. Mr. Kesterson was born March 15, 1913, in Sailor Springs, the son of Clover Riley and Carrie (Pixley) Kesterson. He married Lillian E. Kesterson on November 11, 1935. She preceded him in death in January 1994. He was a retired farmer and funeral director. He was employed by Neal Funeral Home in Louisville for several years and was later employed at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. He was a member of First Christian Church of Cisne and Masonic Lodge. Mr. Kesterson is survived by sons, Robert Leroy Kesterson and his wife, Elizabeth Anne, of Mesa, Ariz., and James F. Kesterson and his wife, Teresa, of Livermore, Ky.; daughter, Patricia Deloris McNew and her husband, James H., of Carmi; sister, Thelma Dunahee, of Flora; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
