Ronald G. Kesterson, 72, of Oswego, IL died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born December 8, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Earle and Leopoldine (nee Muchen) Kesterson. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. during the Korean conflict. He was employed at Dart Container Corp. in North Aurora, IL as a maintenance supervisor until his retirement after 28 years. He is survived by two daughters, Ronda (Joe) Bennett of Oswego, IL and Cindy Yarboro of Indianapolis, IN; three sons, MCPO Kevin (Teresa) Kesterson serving in the US Navy in Italy, Keith (Deb) Kesterson of Waldron, AR and Joe (Amy) Vogt of SC; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Goldie Fischer of Springdale, AR; a brother, Earle (Hedy) Kesterson of Huntley, IL; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companions, Abby and Libby. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty (nee Garrett) Kesterson; and second wife, Carolyn (nee Witte) Kesterson. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2005 from 2 to 6 PM at the McKEOWN-DUNN FUNERAL HOME LTD & CREMATION SERVICE at 210 S. Madison St. in Oswego, IL. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Phil Sheets officiating. Burial will take place at the Oswego Township Cemetery with military honors by the USMC.
