baptised on 1st April 1787 in Scotland the son of
William Gorrie and Janice Scott.
Married:
James
married Janet Weatherspoon in Methven Scotland on 19th
November 1809. Janice was born in Scotland 1790 parents are
unknown.
Census
1841-51: The Scottish 1841 census states Janet Gorrie was
living at Ruthven and aged 50yrs, her occupation printfield. in
the 1851 census she was by
then 60years and a widow.
Death: James died on 12th February 1834 aged
45years at Pitcairn Redgorton Scotland.
