Zola Gertrue Williams, 84

Zola Gertrue Williams, 84, of Galax, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax.
She was born June 21, 1921, in Floyd County to Alfred Cornelious and Icie Florence Dalton Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Hobert M. Williams of Galax; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Linda Williams of Galax; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Alseberry Smith of Riner, Loman and Loraine Smith of Floyd and Ray and Carrie Smith of Rockwood, Tenn.; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Ila and Haven Reed of Willis, Martha and Bill Farmer of Riner, Alma Quesinberry of Radford, Mozelle Phillips of Indian Valley and Leah and Dexter Quesinberry of Chester, Pa.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at Mount Pisgah Church of Christ with burial in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Marvin Williams and Lawrence Warden will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Twin County Hospice.
