To the Ordinary of said County:

The petition of Mrs. Nancy Garrett of said county shows that her husband, Robert Garrett, late of said county died intestate on the ____ day of 190_ leaving and estate solvent and leaving petitioner his widow and there is no representative of said estate.

Wherefore petitioner prays that five discreet appraisers be appointed to lay off, set apart and assign to petitioner out of the estate of said deceased, either in property or money, a sufficiency for her support and maintenance, for the space of twelve months, and a sufficiency of household furniture for her use and she will ever pray.
