         This is the last Will and Testament of one Henry Bath of Swansea in the county of Glamorgan, merchant. I appoint my sons Henry James Bath and Charles Bath Executors of this my will. I give and bequeath my (???) or dwelling at Swansea, where I reside, called "Longlands" and all my estate and (title?) therein unto my wife Marian absolutely subject however to the (rent?) and covenants reserved and maintained in the least under which the said premises are held. Also I give and bequeath all my household furniture, plate, (linens?), china, books, wearing apparel, horses, carriages and all other things (except?) money and securities for money which shall be in and about my (???) unto my said wife Marian absolutely. I give and bequeath unto my son Henry James Bath my gold watch made by (Grobsham?) and I also give devise and bequeath unto to my son Henry James Bath all my (frethold? freehold?) and leasehold estate and interests in the parish of Oystermouth in the said county of Glamorgan to hold unto the said Henry James Bath (All?) (???) executors and administrators absolutely according to the legal nature thereof respectively. And I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects of every and whatsoever description and wheresoever the same may be unto my sons Henry James Bath and Charles Bath equally between them share and share alike absolutely. And lastly I revoke all other wills made by me at any time heretofore. The witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty four. Henry Bath – Signed by the said Henry Bath the testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us being present at the same time who on his request in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribe our names as witnesses.
