Leek-Adams-McKeen Cemetery
This cemetery is located off the road, only visible if you're looking for it...I've passed it dozens of times and never saw it until another researcher, PineyPowe, told me about it. It is a very old graveyard, and has many, many missing headstones in addition to several that are too faded to be read and a large number of unmarked graves. Most of the cemetery is fenced in, with a sign placed by the "Old Bridgeton Historic Society" which reads "Leek-Adams-McKeon Cemetary" (yes, they misspelled 'cemetery' on the new sign.) I'm not sure if they are the ones who fenced it in or not, but a handful of graves lie outside of the fence and are easily missed. There were probably a lot more at one time, as there are several places where the ground is sunken in indicating a possible grave but no headstone is to be found, or only a stump of stone where once a gravemarker stood.
