Lower Bank Cemetery
Washington Township, Burlington County, New Jersey

This cemetery was transcribed on August 6th 2001 by Brian Budd.

I have taken photos of a handful of these headstones and posted them here...clicking on an entry's surname will take you to the family genealogy page of that name; clicking on the first name when available will open up a separate window with the photo of the headstone.

There is a small white box church originally built in 1780 and rebuilt in 1842. The church is no longer in operation. You can reach it by going Rt. 30 thru Hammonton,NJ.Turn onto Rt. 542 near Kessler Hospital. Follow Rt. 542 for quite a while. After you pass Green Bank Inn on your left begin looking for Old Church Road on your right. As soon as you turn you can see the church up the road on the right.

I have not had a chance to compare the two for discrepancies, but the one at the link above appears to have been done about a year after I did this one, so there may be some newer burials on her page.
