Andrews Family

William Andrews was born in Lathbury, Buckinghamshire, England at an uncertain date. He was the husband of one Ann Temple, and they were the parents of Edward Andrews.
Edward Andrews, also born in Lathbury, married a woman named Rebecca and they were the parents of :
Samuel Edwards Andrews, b. 1633 in Buckinghamshire, England. He married Mary Wright, who was born around 1642 in Saugus, Massachussets. Mary was the daughter of Peter Wright, sr. and Alice Wright.

Samuel E. Andrews and Mary Wright were married at the Friends Meeting House of Anthonia Wright, in Oyster Bay, Long Island, on 30 Aug 1663. They would become the parents of:

Mordecai Andrews, born 11 Jun 1664 in Oyster Bay, Long Island.
Peter Andrews, born 12 Jan 1667/8 in Oyster Bay. He died in 1679 in that same place.
Peter Andrews, born 28 May 1671 in Oyster Bay. He died sometime before 1695 in Mansfield Twsp., Burlington Co., NJ.
Hester Esther Andrews, born 12 Dec 1673 in Oyster Bay. She married George Parker in 1692, and died in Philadelphia 24 Nov 1741.
Hannah Andrews, born 23 Apr 1675. She died in Mansfield Twp, 7 Nov 1686
Jacob Andrews, born 12 Sep 1680 in Oyster Bay and died 1 Dec 1687 in Mansfield Twp, New Jersey.
Mary Andrews, who was born 29 Jul 1683 in Oyster Bay and died 29 Mar 1761 in Philadelphia.
Edward Andrews, born 16 Mary 1677/78 in Oyster Bay, Long Island. On 8 Feb 1694/5, at the Friends Meeting House in Chesterfield, Burlington Co., NJ he married Sarah Ong, daughter of Isaac Ong. Edward died 26 Dec 1716 in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Sarah died on 2 Sep 1732. They had eight children (that I know of):

- Elizabeth Andrews, born 4 Oct 1694. She married Thomas Ridgeway at the Chesterfield Friends meetinghouse in 1712. Elizabeth died sometime before 1794.
- Samuel Andrews, born 7 Jan 1696/7 in Mansfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. By 14 Jul 1726 he was in Little Egg Harbor, where he married Elizabeth Ridgeway, daughter of Richard. Before he died in Tuckerton on 17 Apr 1763, they would have at least five children together:
  - Elizabeth Esther Andrews, born 20 Aug 1727 in Little Egg Harbor. She married Joseph Lippincott, jr. in 1744.
  - Hannah Andrews, bonr 10 Jan 1729/30 in Little Egg Harbor. She married Jeremiah Mathis in 1747.
  - Peter Samuel Andrews, born 28 Oct 1732, died 23 Dec 1762. He was married to Hannah Somers and had:

    - Jesse Andrews, born 13 Apr 1758.
  - Mary Andrews born 17 Oct 1735. She married John Pearsall.

  - Benj. Andrews, b. about 1733. He married Ann Kendall and died in Philadephia in 1764.
  - Edward Andrews, b. about 1735 in Mt. Holly. He was married to Tabitha Richardson in March of 1756.
  - Mary Andrews, born 1735. She married Abraham Borton and died in 1759.
  - Peter Andrews, born about 1741. He married Hannah Somers and died 1821 in Philadelphia.
- Nehemiah Andrews, born 4 Sep 1712 and died 22 Sep 1785. He was married to Elizabeth Lippincott in 1740 and had:
