Many people do not realize when they visit Ocean County that the town of Barnegat is not actually the location of the famous lighthouse that bears the same name. Across the bay, on Long Beach Island, sits the little town of Barnegat Light. I have no history or genealogy at this time to share on this town, but I hope to in the near future. For now I will post any pictures I have of the lighthouse or town on this page.
