I don't know anything about this place just yet...it is marked on modern maps as a place name near the intersection of Atsion Road and Oak Shade Road (Route 534)in Shamong Township, Burlington County. I hope to find out more about this town, as I can't help but wonder if there is a connection between the name of this place and the Dellet Family described elsewhere on this site.

UPDATE 10/29/2007 A recent visitor to this site had this to say about the town of Dellet:
"As most old town names appear on map it is the location of not necessarily the name of a town but the location of a family or neighborhood. In this case it was the home of Manassas Dellett, was living in that section of Shamong Township know as Indian Mills. There also was a hotel located on the corner of Atison Rd & Jackson Rd in the area run by Manassas and his wife Rebecca between 1860 & 1893 when he died and then taken over by the Alfred Patterson & his wife Anna Dellett Patterson. He is buried in the Grace Baptist Church located on Rt206 along with his wife and some of children, the rest of his family is buried in St Mary's of the Pines Catholic church over in Sweetwater/Pleasant Mills"
