Feltville
Feltville

This town is also known as Glenside Park and has also been called the 'deserted village.' It is located in Union County, by the Blue Brook in the Watchung Mountains. At the end of the 19th century Feltville became the resort known as Glenside Park, where the middle and upper classes would holiday from New York City.

The town is a registered national historic site and although it is open to the public I have also heard that it is undergoing some restoration. Visitors are allowed but only on foot.

The historic site can be contacted at 908-527-4911.

Apparently some excavation has been done there, as indicated by a photo on this page
