The following information was provided by Peter H. Stemmer and comes from his article in the Bass River Gazzette from October, 1998. The information is presented here with his permission.
"There is some confusion over the name 'Harmony', which is found on an 1849 Otley and Whiteford map of Burlington County to designate what was to become the New Gretna area. It is likeley that this is an error or a name that was used for a very short time by a very few people, as no other reference to Harmony can be found except in a few Gazetteers of the same time period which probably took the name from the Otley and Whiteford map."
