Moses Moore: He still lived in the township, most likely at Batsto, in 1850 and1870. Hannah, John, and Maggie were still there as well--John was now employed as a 'moulder'.
Charles Brewer. The Brewers were still at Batsto in 1870; Charles was 52 then, and Sarah 48. John lived with them still, now age 20. Charles did 'farm work', and John was a laborer. Also in their home was Westor Stopp, age 22. He was born in Pennsylvania, and worked as a clerk in a store. There was also Susannah Stopp, age 22 and an infant Harriet K. Stopp. Susannah was also born in PA, but their child was born in New Jersey.
In 1880, Charles Brewer and family were still at Batsto. His wife, Sarah was still there, as was Charles, Jr., but the other children were gone. Grandson Harry Stott, age 9, was there though. Presumably he is the son of either Susan or Elizabeth, but neither of them lived here.
James Armstrong and wife Martha were still at Batsto in 1870. James worked as a weaver at that time.
Robert Lipsey: In 1870, he was apparently still at Batsto, but living in the home of James and Martha Armstrong. He worked in the glassworks at that time.
Franklin Bateman: He almost definitely lived in Batsto in 1850; see the 1850 page for more info on his family at that time.
Joseph Couch: The Couch family was still at Batsto in 1880. At least Joseph was, age 65 and still employed as a laborer (although he had been out of work for the last 12 months). His wife was dead; children George and Nelson still lived with him, also working as laborers. In the last 12 months, George had been out of work 3 months, Nelson 4.
Samuel Jarvis: This family was almost definitely at Batsto in 1850. I have not found out where they were living in 1870 as of yet.
John Cox: This family was almost definitely resident at Batsto in 1850 as well.
John McVaine: he lived at Batsto in 1850, when his name was spelled "McIlvaine" (which is what his headstone in Pleasant Mills Cemetery says, also). His son by the same name would continue to live at Batsto until at least 1880; John Sr. would die in 1879.
