OBITUARY - Sally McDonough Peterson died at the home of her daughter Monday 
morning, November 5, at 8:30 o'clock aged 88 years.  Deceased was born in Virginia
on September 18, 1812.  In October, 1831, she was married to Wesley Peterson 
and lived in Ohio until 1869, when they moved to Michigan and settled on 
a farm in Essex.  They moved to St. Johns in 1882 where she has since resided.  
Her husband died in 1896 and since that time she has lived with her daughter.  
She has been a great sufferer and death came as a relief.  She was a true 
christian woman and will be freatly missed by her relatives and friends.

Besides a sister, 91 years old, she leaves to mourn her loss five children, 
four sons and a daughter.  Two sons and the daughter live in St. Johns, 
one son in Owosso, and the other in Iowa.

The funeral was held Wednesday at her late home.
