Mrs. Caroline Fredericke was born in Germany, November 2, 1855 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Schippert, of Beaver township, December 28, 1918, aged 63 years 1 month and 25 days.

The deceased came to this county about thirty years ago and was of the hardy pioneer type that has done so much in the development of the county. For the past four years she has been suffering from Brights Disease which finally caused her death. She has been living with her daughter, Mrs. William Schippert, who resides North of Blakeman.

The remains were taken to Republican city, Nebraska for interment. Mr. And Mrs. Wm. Schippert accompanying it to its last resting place.

Two More Succumb to Influenza Attacks

Tom Swanson Gives up long struggle; Henry Haas dies after five days' illness

Two additional deaths from influenza were recorded in the city within the past week, Thomas Swanson succumbing early Saturday morning and Henry Haas twenty-four hours later. Mr. Haas was taken down a week previous to his death and sank rapidly from the first.
Henry Haas was born in Nebraska nearly thirty years ago. He came to Red Lodge eleven years ago and was also employed as an engineer at the east side mine of the N.W. I. He was married and Mrs. Haas is also very sick at the present time. His death occurred Sunday morning and occasioned sorrow to his many friends and associates in the city.
