Iris A. Bedwell, 73, of Linton, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born Oct. 20, 1928, in Linton, she was the daughter of John and Emma (Smith) Maddison. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Don L. Bedwell of Linton; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sherry Bedwell of Linton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Dave Hollingsworth of Linton and Donna and Joe Chipman of Bloomfield; one sister, Evelyn Franich of Michigan; five grandchildren, Curt Hollingsworth, Doug and Cory Bedwell, Tracy Jacobson, and Jennifer Chipman; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Franklin; one brother, Harry Maddison; and her parents.
