OBITUARY: 12 June 1986 Hattiesburg American
Services will be held at 10am Friday at moore Funeral Home for mrs margie Morton,
82, of Hattiesburg, who died June 10, 1986 at Forrest General Hospital. The Rev.
Hershel Wrenwill officiate. Interment will be in the Sunrise Cemetery. Pallbearers
will be J.V. Breland, Barry Wiggins, James T. Rouse, Phillip Dossett, Charles
Ray Harrington and Lovee Swilley. Survivors include her husband, John H. Morton
of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Mrs. Delores Booth of Pascagoula; two grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren; one brother Thomas Leech of Pickens; six sisters,
Mrs. Evie Leggett of Jackson, Mrs. Nan Sharman, Mrs Josie Taylor, Mrs. Louise
Waites and Mrs. Grace Slayton, all of Canton, and Mrs. Dorothy Mason of Eureka
Springs, Ark.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
