containing: Elizabeth, 30, born in New Jersey; Mary E., 11; James M., 8; J.R.,
6, male; Jonathan, 4; S.C., 3, female; and Martha, 1. The oldest three children
were born in Indiana, the others in Wisconsin.
"Census in the County of Lykins in the Territory of Kansas taken
March 1857" shows Anderson Bedwell as head of a household containing five
males and three females.

Bedwell: "Elizabeth was born in New Jersey and died in Miami County, Kansas.
She married 08 Jan 1849 in Jefferson Co., Wisconsin, to Anderson Bedwell. He
was born about 1816 in Indiana. They were the parents of Sarah, William, Warren,
Flora, and Ida. By his first wife, Anderson had children, Mary, James, Joseph,
and Jonathan. Jonathan married Drusilla Fisher and they were the parents of Lora
Jane Bedwell who married Randall Everett Fruit." Anderson Bedwell and
Elizabeth Read were married on 8 Jan 1849 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin.65 Elizabeth
