'Nell' Crain (Died February 4, 2004) FRANKLINTON n Lynelle "Nell" B. Crain, 61, a resident of Franklinton, died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was a member of Crain's Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a longtime employee of Simmon's Department Store. She is survived by her husband, Wendell Crain of Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Sherry Crain of Denham Springs; the second love of her life, her two granddaughters, Allie and Carley Crain of Denham Springs; a brother, William Bedwell of Rio; two sisters, Eleanor Adams of Sheridan and Elnora Sances of Baton Rouge; her mother-in-law, Leona s. Crain of Pine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Dovie Bedwell, and father-in-law, D.C. Crain. Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. today and will continue tomorrow at Crain's Creek Missionary Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Elds. Willie J. Passman, Ed Penton, and Clyde Cooper will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Crain's Creek Church Cemetery.
