She was a homemaker and a member of the Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter. Survivors include a son, Dan Bedwell of Coffeeville; four daughters, Marie Sims of Coffeeville, Joyce Myers and Jo Ann Gibbons, both of Thomasville and Sue Stephens of Grove Hill; brother, Grover Roberts of Grove Hill; sister, Mary Parden of Coffeeville; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Bedwell, a son, Edward D. Bedwell and a daughter, Faye B. Montgomery. The funeral service was Feb. 7 at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville. Burial was in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directing."
