Virgil had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He had been an elder at Spring Woods Church of Christ. Visitation was held Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home with funeral services held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2008 at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
