• 1900 Census for Jefferson Township, Sullivan County, Indiana shows Sylvester Bedwell, born Feb 1865, a farmer who owns his land, as head of household with: Cora B., born Dec 1866, his wife of 15 years who has had four children with four still living; daughter Gli E., born Jun 1886; son Evert, born Feb 1888; son Roy, born May 1891; and son Floyd, born Dec 1896.

• 1930 Census for Jefferson Township, Sullivan County, Indiana, shows Clevin S. Bedwell, 65, a farmer who owns his home, as head of household containing: Cora B., 64, his wife of 45 years; son Roy, 39, no occupation listed; daughter-in-law Dorothy, 29; and grandson Ernest C., 13. Dorothy is shown as having been first married at 15, but Roy is listed as first married at 29; is Ernest actually a stepson from Dorothy's previous marriage?

Calvin Sylvester (Ves) Bedwell and Cora Belle Steele were married on 2 Dec 1885 in Sullivan County, Indiana. Cora Belle Steele was born in Dec 1866 in Indiana.398 She died in 1947 in Sullivan County, Indiana.398 She was buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Dugger, Sullivan County, Indiana.398

Her grave marker says she was born in 1868, but the 1900 Census for Sullivan County, Indiana shows her birth as occurring in Dec 1866 (since she was alive in 1900 and may well have given the census taker this information herself, I tend to believe this date over that of 1868). Calvin Sylvester (Ves) Bedwell and Cora Belle Steele had the following children:
