Obituary: WASHINGTON -- Neta Bedwell, 91, died at 7:40 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 15, 1992, at Washington Christian Village. Born March 10, 1901, in Bucktown, Ind., to James and Pearl Montgomery Padgett, she married Elvin Bedwell on Sept. 29, 1915, in Sullivan, Ind. He died Sept. 4, 1981. She also was preceded in death by one foster son, one grandson, four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are three grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Kennedy of Carlisle, Ind. She was a member of Mount Moriah Church in Dugger, Ind. Services will be at 11 A.M. Monday at Newkirk Funeral Home in Dugger, where visitation will be one hour before the services. The Rev. Gene Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Dugger. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of local arrangements.
