288. Agnes P. Bedwell¹³² was born about 1838 in Lawrence County, Indiana.¹³² She died in 1859 in Marion County, Iowa.³⁸⁹ She was also known as Agga Bedwell.¹³²

"Mr. McNeil was married first in Mahaska County, Iowa, to Miss Aggie Bedwell, a native of Indiana, who remained his companion for about three years, and died in Marion County, Iowa, in 1859."

There is no mention of children from this marriage (the article does mention children from Mr. McNeil's subsequent remarriages, however, leading one to the conclusion that there were no surviving children from his first marriage to Aggie Bedwell).

Agnes P. Bedwell and Salmon McNeil were married on 23 May 1855 in Mahaska County, Iowa.³⁸⁹ Salmon McNeil was born on 23 Apr 1828 in St. Lawrence County, New York.³⁸⁹
