• 1930 Census for Sullivan City, Sullivan County, Indiana shows Gurnie J. Bedwell, age 36, a miner who rents his residence for $20/mo., as head of household containing: Margaret, age 34, his wife of 14 years; son William, age 13; and daughter Gaynell, age 12. Margaret was born in Tennessee, and her parents were born in England.
