• 1880 Census for Marble Hill, Bollinger County, Missouri, taken in June 1880, shows Andrew Bedwell, 36, a miller born in Illinois of parents born in Tennessee and Kentucky, as head of household containing: wife Elizabeth, 34; son Samuel G., 12; and daughter Nellie, 8.

• 1890 Veterans Schedule shows Andrew J. Bedwell, a resident of Marble Hill, Bollinger County, Missouri. He is listed twice, once for serving as a private in Co. B of the 30th Missouri from 17 June 1862 to 27 Mar 1863, and another as a sergeant in Co. B of the Missouri Volunteer Cavalry from 1 Jun 1864 to 16 Mar 1865. It states that he incurred no disability as the result of his service.

Bedwell, 67, born in Indiana, retired, as head of household including: Elizabeth, 62, his wife of 43 years who has had four children with two still living; daughter Nellie Hehn, 36, who has been married for 11/12 of a year; son-in-law Otis Hehn, 33, a carpenter; and grandson Lawrence Hehn, 3. They are homeowners. An Ollie Hahn lives down the street, so the surname might be Hahn, not Hehn.
