Mary Ruth (Bedwell) Hickmon, died Monday. She was 80. A private Mass will be held. Mrs. Hickmon was born Sept. 8, 1925, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Ola (Harris) Bedwell. She married Raymond Whipp Sr. in September 1941 in Las Vegas. She later married Monte Hickmon on Sept. 7, 1953, in California. Mrs. Hickmon worked as a store manager, and retired in 1990. She moved to Bend in 1991 to be close to her son, Raymond Jr. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Belinda Whipp of Bend; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her first and second husbands and her son.
