• 1860 Census for Jefferson Township, Sullivan County, Indiana shows Garrett Allenbaugh, 53, a farmer with $760 real estate and $475 assets, as head of household containing: Rebecca, 53; Ellender, 20; and Lewis, 14. Garrett and Rebecca were born in Kentucky, Ellender and Lewis in Indiana.

Rebecca Ellen Bedwell and Garrett Allumbaugh were married about 1830. Garrett Allumbaugh was born about 1809 in Kentucky.¹⁴⁴ He was also known as Garret Ellenbaugh.¹⁴⁴ Rebecca Ellen Bedwell and Garrett Allumbaugh had the following children:
