The funeral for Dorothy Freeman, 82, of Okeene, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Okeene Seventh Day Adventist Church. Paul Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.

She was born June 15, 1924, in Hitchcock to Frank and Esther Bedwell and died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007.

She was a resident of Okeene and Hennessey for most of her life. She graduated from Hitchcock High School and attended Hill Business College. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base and was a waitress and caregiver. She was a member of Okeene Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She married Jay Freeman Sept. 5, 1950, in Bethany. Following his death she married Marcine Fox.

Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn Fox Ryan of Calumet; one sister, Judy McCarty of Hennessey; one half sister, Roma Lee Kimbell of Hazelton, Idaho; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jay.
