Born June 22, 1926 in San Francisco, California, John grew up in Daly City. John was a Presbyterian minister and served in churches in the Bay Area from the 1950s until the 1990s. Additionally, he taught at Holbrook Elementary in Concord, and is remembered for his many unique class projects. John is survived by five children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
