SAND ROCK -- Services for Rev. Edward D. Robinson, 92, of Sand Rock will be today
at 11 a.m. at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Revs. Larry Johnson and Waylon
Smalley officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Robinson died
Monday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Judson Robinson of Sand Rock; a daughter, Wanda Bearden
of Albertville; five grandchildren, Mike Bearden, Steve Bearden, Scott Tolleson,
Joseph Robinson and Jason Robinson; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Robinson was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late George and
Daisey Bedwell Robinson. He was retired from Goodyear, a member of New Bethel
Baptist Church, and a Mason.
