PETAL - Services were held today at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg for Eloise M. "Granny" Bedwell, 84, of Petal, who died Nov. 1, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Bedwell was retired as a clerk from Reliance Manufacturing and from the University of Southern Mississippi Commons. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nevel R. Bedwell, and a granddaughter, Angela Jo Bedwell. Survivors include two sons, Simon H. Bedwell Sr. and Joseph L. Bedwell, both of Petal; two brothers, Wahdal Morgan of Bassfield and Bob Morgan of Fairhope, Ala.; three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
