A. Bedwell56,97 was born about 1836 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.97,99
Mary Ann Bedwell is generally listed as John Bedwell's daughter because
she is living in his household in the 1850 Census. However, she was the same
approximate age as the Mary Ann Bedwell, whose headstone says she was the "wife
of Wesley Bedwell", who is buried in Ebenezer Cemetary in Henderson County.
Was she actually John's daughter-in-law rather than his daughter, having married
son Wesley at a very early age? Or are they two different women, who just happen
to share a name and year of birth?
