Mrs. Viola Bedwell Rogers June 28, 1986 BOGALUSA - Mrs. Viola Bedwell Rogers, 75, a resident of the Pine community, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 28th, at the East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie. A member of the Harmony Baptist Church, she was the widow of the late George Rogers. She is survived by a son, James B. Rogers of Pine; three daughters, Mrs. Homer (Ruthie Mae) Graves, Mrs. William (Nellie) Jenkins, and Mrs. Larry (Verdie Mae) Knight, all of Pine; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The body lay in state at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton until the time for funeral services, which were conducted Monday, June 30th, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Elder Willie J. Passman officiating. Interment was in the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at Pine. Pallbearers were Donald Wayne Bedwell, William Bedwell, Lance Rogers, Larry Knight, Roger Jenkins, and William Jenkins.
