sure); son E.H., 7; son E.J., 6; daughter R.A., 4; and son M.L., 3. R.W. and
C.M. are shown as unable to read or write.
• 1900 Census for Elk Creek, Grayson County, Virginia shows William R. Hall,
born May 1850, a farmer who owns his land, as head of household including: Celia
M., born May 1851, his wife of 26 years who has had nine children, five still
living; daughter Robena (?) A., born Mar 1877; son Albert A., born Sept 1889;
daughter Lizzie L., born Sept 1897; and daughter Kizzie K., born Sept 1897.
• 1910 Census for Elk Creek, Grayson County, Virginia shows Reese W. Hall,
58, a farmer who owns his land, as head of household containing: Celia, 55, his
wife of 40 years who has had ten children, five still living; daughter Lessie,
11; and daughter Kessie, 11. William Reece Hall and Celia M. Parks were married
on 15 Aug 1872 in Grayson County, Virginia.327
