Death certificate says he was born in 1886, but 1900 census said 1884.

• 1920 Census for Bledsoe County, Tennessee, taken Jan 1920, shows Horton Bedwell, 34, a farmer who rents, as head of household consisting of: wife Ida, 31; daughter Bessie M., 14; and daughter Virgie L., 11.

• 1930 Census for Bledsoe County, Tennessee shows Horton Bedwell, 50, a farm laborer, living with Ida, 48, his wife of 30 years.
