MORGAN MACK TOWRY -- Morgan Mack Towry of Fayetteville died Friday afternoon
in Lincoln Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was 80 years old. Services
were held Sunday at Ralston Funeral Home, with Dr. E. M. Fleming officiation.
Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery. Mr. Towry was a native of Lincoln County, and
a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ella
Schnetzler Towry; two daughters, Mrs. O. Lewis Barnes of Fayetteville and Mrs.
Nelson Parish Jr. of Huntsville; a son, Joseph Randolph Towry; six sisters, Mrs.
Henry Spray, Mrs. Dee Smith, Miss Ola Towry, and Mrs. Emerson Hunter, all of
Fayetteville; Mrs. Robert Oldham of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Kelvie
Stephens of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Ferrell Towry of Murfreesboro and
Hurly Towry and Freeman Towry, both of Fayetteville, and six grandchildren. Morgan
McDaniel Towry and Ella Sophronia Schnetzler were married on 27 Dec 1914 in Lincoln
