1920 Census for Neosho, Morris County, Kansas, shows John H. Foster, age 50, a farmer who owns his own land, as head of household: wife Lilly M., age 45; daughter Hazel, age 21; son Orvel, age 16; and son Leroy, age 13. He lists his father as born in Kentucky, and his mother as Missouri.

1930 Census for Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas, shows Lillie M. Foster, age 55, a widow, as head of household, along with son Leroy A. Foster, age 23, a farmer.

John Harvy Foster and Lilly M. ? were married about 1893. Lilly M. ? was born in Sep 1874 in Kansas. John Harvy Foster and Lilly M. ? had the following children:
