720. John Riley
Crane was born on 12 May 1866 in Mulberry, Lincoln County, Tennessee.
He appeared in the census in 1870 in Lynchburg, Lincoln County, Tennessee.314 He died on 20 May 1941 in Giles
County, Tennessee. He was a farmer.
1920 Census shows a grandson named Jonathan W. Savage, age 4 and 11/12, is living
in the household of John R. Crane. It is unknown which of John R. Crane's daughters
was his mother. The other members of the household are wife Susie and son Alex,
age 11. John Riley Crane and Susan Prosser were married on 26 Dec 1889.
Susan Prosser was born about 1867 in Tennessee.
1910 Census for Lincoln County, Tennessee, notes that Susan Crane has had nine
children, seven of whom were still living. John Riley Crane and Susan Prosser
had the following children:
