MRS C.E. SCRIBNER WILL BE BURIED AT HOLLYWOOD
Mrs C. E. Scribner, 62, passed away this morning at 6:20 o'clock at the home
of her daughter, Mrs Guy Hudson, east of the city, following a long illness.
Mrs Scribner was born in Haywood Co but had made her home here for a number
of years. She was first married to B. F. House who died in 1925 and she was married
to to C. E. Scribner who passed away in 1932. She was a member of the Trinity
Methodist church and is survived by a son T. E. House of Paducah; a daughter
Mrs. Hudson; a brother, R. L. Newsom of Whiteville, and three sisters, Mrs Will
Ford of Vildo, Mrs Jim Connie (Carney) of Brownsville and Mrs. Geo. Kelso of
Haywood Co. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Giffin
Chaple by the Rev. M. C. Yates, paster of Trinity Med. Church. The following
will served as pallbearers; Aubrey Moore, B. E. Jones, W. S. Record, Jim Long,
Tom Smith and Clyde Miller Bedford Forest House and Albinia Victoria Newsom
