3. Robert Bedwell Jr.8 was born about 1662 in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.8,21 He died before 9 May 1717 in Kent County, Delaware.22

1 February 1713. Deed. Elizabeth Bedwell of Murderkill Hundred, Kent county, widdow relict of Robert Bedwell late of same place yeoman deceased one of the sons of Robert Bedwell late of same county gentleman deceased ... whereas Robert Bedwell the younger in his lifetime 1 March 1708 for 50 pounds did sell but not convey unto Thomas Bedwell of same county gentleman a tract of land south side of Dover River ... 175 acres and is part of 500 acres whereof said Robert Bedwell the elder dyed possessed of being part of a 1050 acre tract of land called Follyneck whereof the the said Robert Bedwell, John Goodson and Samuel Carpenter commissioners 6 March 1690 granted to Robert Bedwell in his lifetime patent 20 August 1679 resurveyed 10 January 1685 unto Robert Bedwell being one of the sons of Robert Bedwell deceased and whereas Robert Bedwell the younger late deceased by will 4 October 1713 did appoint his well beloved wife Elizabeth Bedwell a party to these presents and to make over in open court a good title to said 175 acres unto Thomas Bedwell ... Witnesses: William Rodeney, John Hall Frances Allen. Acknowledged 10 August 1715. (Kent County Delaware Deed Record D, Volume 1, page 115).

10 April 1713. Deed. Thomas Bedwell, Robert Bedwell, and Adam Fisher all of Kent County gentlemen for 15 pounds sold to mark Barden of same county carpenter ... a tract of land patented unto Thomas Bedwell and henry Bedwell [his] brother and unto Robert Bedwell and Adam Fisher 1100 acres) called Long Reach in Murtherkill Hundred on a branch of the Dover River ... to corner of land formerly belonging to Ezekial Needham ... to corner of land formerly belonging to Edmond Needham ... 100 acres ... Henry Bedwell is since deceased without heirs ... Witnesses: Francis Allen, William Annand. Acknowledged 10 November 1715 by Thomas Bedwell and Elizabeth Bedwell relict of and executrix of Robert Bedwell deceased and Adam Fisher. (Kent County Delaware Deed Record Book E, Volume 1, page 12).

Robert Bedwell Jr. and Helen Preston were married in 1703 in Kent County, Delaware.8 Helen Preston8 was born about 1680. She died in 1715.23 Robert Bedwell Jr. and Helen Preston had the following children:
