436. Wiley W. Duncan¹⁰⁷ was born about 1847 in Lee County, Virginia.⁵⁶² He died after 16 Oct 1922 in Scott County, Virginia.⁵⁶⁵

•In the name of God Amen, I W.W.DUNCAN, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make my Last Will and Testament as Fallows:

First,I give and bequeath unto my wife SUSANNAH DUNCAN all of my personal and real estate to have and to hold during her natural life and at her (SUSAN DUNCAN) decease I devise unto the heirs of my wife,SUSAN DUNCAN all of the above mentioned property both real and personal to wit:W.E.DUNCAN.T.C.DUNCAN.JamesDUNCAN.EMMIT DUNCAN LEOLA BELAMY.HENRY DUNCAN.BALLARD DUNCAN. GLADUS DUNCAN and FITZHUGH LEE DUNCAN to have and to hold forever and I further bequeath than when Fitzhugh Lee DUNCAN becomes 21 years of age my wife SUSAN DUNCAN if living shall pay unto my heirs as fallows to wit: One dollar to each to wit:Laura Benton.CHARLIE DUNCAN.JOHN DUNCAN.ISABELLA BURNETT.and MARTHA THOMPSON,and if she SUSAN DUNCAN be dead when Fitzhugh Lee becomes 21 years old then I will that my heirs of my wife SUSAN DUNCAN pay unto LAURA B BENTON. CHARLIE DUNCAN. JOHN DUNCAN. ISABELLA BARNETT. AND MARTHA THOMPSON one dollar each. I appoint my said wife SUSAN DUNCAN excutor of this will and desire that no security be required of her as such I hereby revoke all previous wills and Cocidals hereunto made by me. I have notes written on the side that the first set of Duncans were my grandfather (Taylor C. Duncan)full brothers and sisters. The second set were his half brothers and sisters. I believe the note to be written by one of my aunts.

He is a 35 year old farmer, living with: wife Sarah J., age 31; son Willard, age 14; son Patrick, age 11; daughter Ida, age 9; son Selba K. (?), age 8; son James, age 4; and son Lester, age 15/12.
