JOHANSEN, FRANCES JUNE Frances June Johansen, 71, of Bristol, Tenn., went to
be with the Lord, Thursday, March 4, 2002, at Wellmont Hospice House. She was
a native of Rural Retreat, and daughter of the late Carl H. and Hallie Lambert
Bedwell. She had lived in the Bristol area for 68 years. She was a homemaker,
was of the Methodist faith and was preceded in death by Virgil Johansen. Survivors
include her sister, Peggy Shepherd of Bristol, Tenn.; brother Douglas Bedwell
and his wife, Beverly, of Bristol, Tenn.; and special niece, Kimberly Kestner
of Gray, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April
7, 2002, at the graveside in Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Weaver Funeral Home.
