Age 27, Works at shop, 105, 1870 GCC. Granted pension on 6/2/1900 by the Grayson Co. Pension Board. Pension revoked 2/1903, had annual income of over $150.

JOHANSEN, FRANCES JUNE Frances June Johansen, 71, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 4, 2002, at Wellmont Hospice House. She was a native of Rural Retreat, and daughter of the late Carl H. and Hallie Lambert Bedwell. She had lived in the Bristol area for 68 years. She was a homemaker, was of the Methodist faith and was preceded in death by Virgil Johansen. Survivors include her sister, Peggy Shepherd of Bristol, Tenn.; brother Douglas Bedwell and his wife, Beverly, of Bristol, Tenn.; and special niece, Kimberly Kestner of Gray, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2002, at the graveside in Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Weaver Funeral Home. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. BRISTOL HERALD COURIER APR. 6, 2002
