All were born in Tennessee.

• 1910 Census for District 4, Rhea County, Tennessee, shows Jessee H. Bedwell, age 50, a laborer in a rock quarry, as head of household with: Sarah, 40, his wife of 24 years who has had ten children with nine still living; daughter Dove, 15; son Virgil, 14; daughter Maggie, 12; son Harvey, 10; son William, 4; and daughter Lola, 2.

• 1920 Census for North Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, shows Jessie Bedwell, 65, a widower whose occupation is "public works laborer", as head of household with: son Harvey, 18, a "trolley boy" on a street car line; son Billy, 13; daughter Lola, 11; daughter Annie May, 7; son-in-law John Gains, 25, a street car worker; daughter Dovie, 25; and granddaughter Nola, 6.

• Death certificate, which was reported by a William Bedwell of Chattanooga, states that his father was Harrison Bedwell; his mother is listed as "unknown" to the reporter.

Jesse Harrison Bedwell Jr and Sarah T. Doss were married about 1886 in Dayton, Rhea County, Tennessee.¹⁹⁴ Sarah T. Doss^194,614 (daughter of William (Bill) Doss and Sarah Louise Haney) was born on 4 Apr 1871 in McMinn County, Tennessee.⁶¹⁴ She died of tuberculosis on 31 Aug 1918 in North Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.⁶¹⁵ She was buried in Lone Mountain Cemetery, Graysville, Rhea County, Tennessee.⁶¹⁴ Jesse Harrison Bedwell Jr and Sarah T.
