"BONINE, LOCAL PIONEER, DIES

William Albert Bonine, 72, a native of Iowa, and a resident of Porterville since 1899, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.E. Harrold. Last rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Loyd's Chapel with Rev. E.A. Junker, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Bonine was married in the state of Kansas. From that state he moved to Nebraska, then to Missouri and to California, settling in Porterville January 1, 1899. Mrs. Bonine died six months ago. He was a member of the Baptist and the W.O.W. fraternal lodge. Survivors are three sons; Bert, William and Tom; Two daughters; Mrs. H.R. Miner and Mrs. H.E. Harrold and a sister Mrs. J.J. Wymore, all of Porterville."

MRS. W.A. BONINE'S FUNERAL TOMORROW

Funeral rites for Mrs. W.A. Bonine, 68, mother of Special Police Officer Tom Bonine, who died yesterday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. H.E. Harrold in the Westfield district, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the First Babtish church at 3 o'clock. Rev. E.A. Junker officiating.

Mrs. Bonine was born at Kalamazoo, Michigan, March 3, 1859. She and Mr. Bonine were married March 26, 1879.

She is survived by her husband W.A. Bonine, and five children : G.B. Bonine, Mrs. H.R. Miner, A.W. Bonine, Mrs. H.E. Harrold, Tom Bonine and a brother George W. Smith, all of Porterville. She had resided in Porterville since 1899.

Internment will be at the Porterville Cemetery.

Hold Funeral Rites - Funeral services for Mrs. W.A. Bonine, 68, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First Babtist Church. Rev. E.A. Junker officiating. Mrs. Bonine was the mother of Special Officer Tom Bonine and four other children. A brother , G.W. Smith of Porterville, also survives . Internment at Porterville Cemetery.
