"Mrs. Wagner, Life Long Cedar Bethel Resident, Is Dead

Columbus Junction, Ia., Oct. 1 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Wagner, ... died in her home near Fredonia, Wednesday ... Burial was in the Cedar Bethel cemetery. Mrs. Wagner, formerly Miss Emily Margaret Bedwell was born in the Cedar Bethel community, Nov. 11, 1864 and had spent her life in that vicinity. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Walter at home; Earl and Glen of Fredonia and four daughters, Pearl and Ethel at home; Mrs. Goldie Blake of Fredonia and Mrs. Flava Schmidt of Muscatine. A brother, Henry Bedwell of Cedar Bethel and a sister, Mrs. Nora Hafner of Cranston and five grandchildren also survive."
