Bedwell, age 25, single, born in Tennessee of parents born in Tennessee, living in a construction camp while working as a miner (the census page says construction camp at the top, but just about everyone listed is a miner or a laborer).

• 1920 Census for Seattle, King County, Washington, taken in Jan 1920, shows William J. Bedwell, age 34, single, born in Tennessee of parents born in Tennessee, living as a roomer in a private household while working as a gold miner.

• William J. Bedwell's death certificate says he died on Nov 28 1924 at 3am of "Fracture of skull & abrasions over body -- died instantly. Fell in mine shaft elevator." The accident occured in Mascot, Knox County, TN. It doesn't list a date of birth, but says he was "about 39, born in Charleston, TN". A woman named Theresa Bedwell was the reporter. William J. was buried in Lynhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. It shows his parents as Squire Bedwell and Victoria Kyle.
